The College places great importance to developing a healthy physique which is essential for intellectual pursuit.Large areas have been earmarked for outdoor sport such as cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball and badminton.Field tracks have been provided for athletics, and facilities have also been set up for indoor games such as table-tennis,chess,carroms and so on.The hostels have also been provided with sporting facilities. A full-fledged Department of physical Education headed by a qualified P.E.D is functioning to encourage students to participate in inter-collegiate and other competitions,win awards and make a distinction for themselves in the field of sports.
With the view to improve physical & mental fitness of the students Yoga classes are conducted in the mornings and evenings in the college campus. The classes are conducted by experienced Yoga trainers from Pudukkottai. Hostel students, both boys and girls, participate in the training regularly and get benefited.
