The Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Department (AI and DS) was established in july 2020 with the intake capacity of 60 seats. It was set up to equip students with the knowledge and skills to harness the power of AI and data analytics. The department comprises highly qualified faculty members with postgraduate degrees from reputed institutions. It offers a multidisciplinary curriculum that blends computer science, mathematics, and domain-specific applications, preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is an interdisciplinary branch of science, engineering and technology creating a complete ecosystem and a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the technical industry, academics and research. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is the future of technology which are changing the world at very high pace.
The main objectives of this course is to train students with the next age of Intelligence and analytics generated by machines, influencing nearly every facet of our lives to help improve efficiencies and augment human capabilities, influencing consumer products with significant breakthroughs in healthcare, manufacturing, finance and retail industries. The department aims to develop the next generation of AI and data science professionals who can drive technological advancements and contribute to society.

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Science department has Hi-Tech lab which provides extensive computing programs. This includes icore 3 -8GB RAM as processor along with Ubuntu 2.0 Operating System for developing C programming, Object Oriented programs and Python programming exclusively for First year curriculum.

The AI&DS Department Library is the primary resource for study and teaching and is an outstanding means of learning, catering to the ever-growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students and the faculties.
Library comprises comprehensive collection of latest as well as old volumes, books, journals, and newsclippings on day to day development in the AI field as well as environment, science and technology and CD and Video Cassettes under various titles.
