Message from the Principal

It is a privilege to serve as the Principal of Sudharsan Engineering College, an institution dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, and the all-round development of students. With over three decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, I firmly believe that true education goes beyond the classroom—it is about nurturing responsible, skilled, and future-ready individuals.

My academic journey began with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Salem (under Madras University), followed by an M.E. in Design and Production of Thermal Power Equipment from REC Trichy (now NIT Trichy), and culminated in a Ph.D. in Solar Energy Technology from Anna University. Over the years, I have served in various academic roles—from teaching in polytechnic institutions to working as Assistant Professor, Professor, Head of Department, and currently, as Principal.

I have had the opportunity to lead and contribute to several government-funded programs such as UBA, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, MNRE, MoEF, AICTE, and ISTE. Additionally, I have organized and participated in more than 25 national-level seminars, conferences, and workshops, and have authored two textbooks and published around 10 research papers in reputed journals.

My work in engineering education has been recognized through honors such as the Jewel of India Award and the Rashtra Pratibha Puraskar, acknowledging my contributions to academic and institutional growth. I am also a life member of ISTE and a proud member of the Institution of Engineers (India), which helps me stay connected with ongoing developments in the field.

My vision has been to foster a dynamic learning environment that promotes innovation, critical thinking, and personal development.
