Matching with grandeur of the house, every laboratory hall in the centre has arrays of high-end systems neatly laid out in plush interiors. All computers are networked in client-sever architecture and can harness extensive network and software support from three Pentium and eight Xeon servers. All systems are either VDI or CORE-2-DUO based. A set of 40 systems are reserved as stand-alone for network-free uses and practices. In all, the centre supports 400 systems within its precincts and around 800 in the entire campus.

Sona centre has its IT training resources deployed in eight spacious halls(IT LAB1,IT LAB2,IT LAB3,MCA LAB,CS LAB1, CS LAB2, CS LAB3,CS LAB4) each of them specially equipped for training in specified software resource.

All the systems in these labs have access to any of C, C++, Java, Oracle, Visual basic 6.0 , Visual Studio 2008, AutoCAD, ANSYS, Microsoft Office ,Rational Rose, Macro,media flash, Photoshop, Maya, 3ds Max, Study Skills, compliers and packages installed in the central servers.

In addition to the above, an exclusive lab facility has been set up for training in English Language Communication skill. This lab has 55 PCs equipped with training software for Speaking skill and the necessary hardware accessories like headphone with mike.

The centre has arrangement with Netschool, Chennai, a leading software training company, to design and deliver need-based training programmes to staff and students of the college. The centre extends unrestricted access to its resources for students training and its ambitious annual planner gets fatter every year - ultimately for the benefit of the students.

The centre provides 14Mbps net connectivity distributed throughout the campus including hostels through OFC and Wi-Fi connections.
